TESOL is often known as TESL and TEFL which along with few other following terms in the field of teaching can often be confusing. To clarify differences of TESOL, TESL, TEFL, Teaching English to Children TEC, Teaching Corporate English TCE, Teaching Business English TBE, TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS, TEF, TFI, ESL, FSL, DELF, TFSOL, EFCLS, EFI, EFE, TSSOL, EESI, EESN, TPSOL, TISOL, TJSOL, NSI, TCSOL, TASOL, TRSOL, TKSOL, TGSOL, TTSOL to our future teachers and our members please review our TESOL Canada Brochure. Canadian & Interantional Accredited organizations offering the Standard TESOL program of more than 150 hrs are usually recognized and accredited through TESOL Canada. Please note that any TESOL/ TESL program offered anywhere in the world containing less than 150 hours of training is neither accredited nor recognized through TESOL Canada. In some provinces across Canada, local Ministry of Education or Ministry of Colleges and Training approvals may be required based on the provincial guidelines. In province of Québec approval of Ministry of Employment is needed known as "Certificat d' Agreement d' Emploi Québec".
