TESOL & TEC Canada

Since 1995 TESOL Canada has been dedicated to maintain the highest standards in accreditation of TESOL, TESL or TEFL  training both in Canada & Overseas.

To preserve Canadian Multicultural Heritage, in addition to English Teachers Training Programs widely offered across Canada through many recognized schools, TESOL Canada has been the first pioneer to develop additional programs for teachers of French TFSOL, Spanish TSSOL, Italian TISOL, Portuguese TPSOL, Chinese TCSOL, Korean TKSOL, Japanese TJSOL, Arabic TASOL, and most recently Russian TRSOL & Turkish TTSOL to work both in Canada & Overseas.
Our multicultural & multilingual programs have been widely appreciated globally as now most institutions set new standards in teaching languages other than English.

In Summer 2000, TESOL Canada has developed more specialized programs to teach for specific purposes such as TEC Teaching English to Children, TBE Teaching Business English,  TAE Teaching Academic English and finally TEP Teaching English to Professionals.  An entirely sophisticated new program has also been developed as Teaching Academic Subjects "TAS" which is almost teaching in any academic subjects for Masters & PhD holders in related fields as well as teaching the related lexicons and terminologies of a particular trade or profession. Worth mentioning that TEP is available in three major branches of Engineering, Health Science & Governmental Studies & Law.

Through many global TESOL schools, thousands of TESOL graduates have studied for a variety of reasons, but primarily: To fulfill their dreams of living and working overseas , to enjoy a change of career,  to further their career and personal development , Or to simply flex their minds!  Typically, TESOL helps those wishing to enjoy a TESOL/ TESL career break, career change or develop their current TEFL/ TESOL/ TESL teaching career. With no upper age limits (must be 18 or over) and no previous teaching experience required, TESOL attracts a broad mix of students.

TESOL Canada's approved schools provide courses through traditional Onsite Intensive Approach, or by a fully integrated Supported Distance & Online Learning.

TESOL Canada's recognized members  work in all corners of the globe, from Spain to Thailand, from Korea to Costa Rica or right at home in Canada.

A) Supported Distance Learning & Online.
B) Classroom Based Learning.

Students are advised to contact each school directly for their registrations and applications.

Correspondence / Online:
Supported Distance Learning means you will be learning in your own time, by reading course material, working on course activities and completing tasks.
Course information will be provided through the Course Package and Online.
You may use both systems or either of the methods to continue studying.

Member schools will provide a personal tutor who will support you through the course. With each returned module you will receive an assessment sheet, which allows your trainer to comment on your progress, giving advice and guidance for future modules.

A centralized team of TESOL Advisors are also available to assist you. If you feel you are in difficulties with any aspect of the course you are able to contact your school administration by email, phone, fax or letter.

If you face any difficulities through your course and to add any comments or recommendations about your school and programs you may  contact TESOL Canada directly.

Classroom Based Courses:
Classroom Based Learning means you will attend an onsite class where you will be taught by a number of trainers and have the opportunity to interact with other TEFL trainees. Classroom based learning also includes teaching practice on real language students.

Each module of your course will be illustrated by practical methods and strategies for use in the ESL classroom, with a real balance between theory and practice. Such presentations are followed through our accerdited schools.
